Heavyweight Francis Ngannou has his next bout set for November 24, 2018 in Beijing, China. According to Ariel Helwani of ESPN
In his next bout it will be a rematch against Curtis Blaydes (10-1) who’s only loss is to Ngannou back in 2016 via doctors stoppage. In his last bout Blaydes looked impressive stopping Alistair Overeem in the third round.
Ngannou on the other hand following his loss vs Miocic for the title at UFC 220 has not looked the same being defeated by Derrick Lewis at UFC 226 in a bout where neither man engaged and everyone lost including Lewis. Prior to that slide Ngannou looked unstoppable and had been heavily marketed as the future of the division.
Can Ngannou get back the confidence he had that took him to the title bout or will Blaydes continue to move forward?
